Trainers

Trainers, PT packages and payouts that add themselves up

Session packages, a diary each trainer can see, and a payout figure you do not have to work out by hand.

Personal training is the most profitable thing a gym sells and the worst-recorded. Sessions live in a trainer's phone, packages in somebody's memory, and the month's payout is reconstructed from an argument.

CoachFit gives each trainer their own login: their diary, their members, their earnings. The owner gets the other half — what was sold, what was delivered, and what is owed to whom.

Each trainer sees their own

Their sessions, their enrolled members, their hours. Not the gym's books, not another trainer's diary, and never what anybody else is paid.

Sessions agreed by both sides

A member picks times from the trainer's free hours; the trainer accepts, suggests others, or declines. A session is booked only when both have agreed.

Pay that calculates itself

Salary, a share of each session, or both. The share is frozen at the rate agreed when the session was booked, so changing it later is never retroactive.

Trainers see what they have earned

Their own earnings screen: base pay, the share of every completed session, what has been paid and what is still to come. Fewer conversations at the desk.

Selling personal training

A package is a number of sessions at a price, sold to one member and counted down as they are delivered. Members can buy one themselves from the app — paying now, paying later, or paying by card where the gym takes automatic payments — and the trainer is told the moment it is theirs.

A trainer across several gyms

Trainers rarely work at one place. One CoachFit login carries every gym a trainer works at, and they switch between them in the app — with each gym seeing only its own sessions.

Plans, not just sessions

Trainers can build workout and diet templates and assign them to the members they train, which is the part of the job that usually happens on paper. See workout planning and diet management for how those work.

Trainer management: common questions

How are trainers paid in CoachFit?

Monthly salary, a percentage of each completed session, or a salary plus a share. The figure is calculated as sessions complete, and a payout is recorded against the month when you pay it.

Can a trainer see the gym's revenue?

No. A trainer sees their own diary, their own members and their own earnings. Fees, dues and the gym's figures are the owner's.

What if a member cancels a session?

They cancel with a note, the trainer is told, and the session returns to the package rather than being counted as delivered.
