The plan a member trains on is usually a photo of a diary page. It cannot be edited, it is lost when the phone is, and nobody at the gym knows what anybody is meant to be doing.

CoachFit keeps plans as templates. Build "Beginner — 4 weeks" once, assign it to whoever needs it, and every member sees today's workout in their own app.

A library, not typing

Search the built-in exercise list and toggle what belongs in the day. Anything missing, you add once as your own and it is there for every plan after.

Day by day, week by week

Set sets and reps per exercise, rest days included, over as many weeks as the plan runs. The cycle repeats until somebody changes it.

Assigned at the desk

Choose a plan while adding the member, or change it later from their record. Owners and trainers can both assign; only the owner can take one away.

The member just opens the app

They see today: the exercises, the sets, the reps. No printouts, no photographs of a diary page, no asking at the desk.

Templates and copies

Assigning a template gives the member a copy of it, not a link to it. That matters when a trainer adjusts one member's plan: the change belongs to that member, and the template behind it is untouched.

Edit the template later and you are asked whether to push the change to everybody on it — and members whose plan was customised for them keep theirs.

Who can change what

Owners and trainers can both build templates and assign them. A trainer assigning a plan to a member replaces whatever was there, which is what makes handovers work — but a trainer cannot leave a member with no plan at all.

Workout planning: common questions

Can trainers make their own workout plans?

Yes. Trainers build templates and assign them to any member they train, from their own app. The owner sees and can edit the same plans.

Does the member need to log what they did?

No. The plan is there to be read, not filled in. CoachFit shows the member what today is, and leaves the tracking to them.

Can one plan run for a month?

Yes — plans run over as many weeks as you build, and the cycle repeats from the start when it reaches the end.
