Member and trainer apps

Your members stop asking the front desk

A front desk spends its day answering four questions: when does my plan end, how much do I owe, did you get my payment, and how often did I come last month.

All four have exact answers already in the system. The member app simply lets the member read them, which is a smaller idea than most gym apps are sold on and a more useful one.

Signing in without a password

A code on WhatsApp the first time, then a four-digit PIN. Nobody has a password to forget, so nobody is locked out on a Sunday and nobody has to reset anything.

Their plan and their money

Expiry date, amount due, every receipt. A member who can see their own payment history stops disputing it, which removes the most awkward conversation a front desk has.

Renewing from the phone

One tap opens their UPI app with your handle and the right amount, so the renewal happens while they are thinking about it rather than next time they happen to visit.

A trainer app that shows only the trainer

Their diary, their members, their session history. Not the gym’s revenue and not another trainer’s schedule — scoped on the server, not hidden behind a menu.

What it looks like

Built for a phone at the front desk and a laptop in the office, not a demo video.

Why an optional app beats a compulsory one

Gyms are regularly sold a branded member app on the promise that everybody will install it. Nobody does. Install rates for a single-gym app sit low enough that any process depending on one quietly breaks, and the gym ends up running two systems.

CoachFit assumes the opposite. Members are added by you, hear from you on WhatsApp, and renew through a link that needs no login at all. The app is for the members who want it, and nothing stops working for the members who never open it.

What the app removes from your day

Not dramatic, but constant. The interruptions a receptionist handles are individually trivial and collectively most of the job, and each one costs whatever they were actually in the middle of.

  • Android and iOS, from the same account as the web app
  • Attendance history, so a member can see their own consistency
  • Personal-training sessions remaining on a package, counted down
  • App check-in for gyms with no biometric terminal on the floor
  • A trainer working across several gyms switches between them in one app

Included at every price, for members and trainers

Typical of the category

Frequently a paid add-on, a higher tier, or a one-off build fee

The full breakdown — what is included, what costs extra, and what happens when you add a branch — is on the pricing page, and the features page covers how this part actually works.

Common questions

Is it one app for owners, trainers and members?

Yes. Everyone at the gym uses the same CoachFit app: owners run the gym from it, trainers see their members and sessions, and members see their plan, dues, attendance and streaks. Each person sees what their role allows.

How do members sign in to the app?

A code sent on WhatsApp the first time, then a four-digit PIN they choose. There is no password, which removes the single most common reason anybody contacts a gym about an app.

Is the member app an extra cost?

No. The member app, the trainer app and the web app are all included in the ₹299 a month. There is no separate app fee and no build charge.

Can members book classes in the app?

Yes. The timetable for the fortnight ahead is in the member app, with places left on each class. A member books a place, or joins the waitlist when the class is full and is moved up automatically if somebody cancels. The class is paid for by a pass, as a drop-in or as part of the membership, depending on how the gym has priced it.

Try it against your own members

5 days, every feature, no card. ₹299 a month after that, with unlimited members.
